Why Shift
Because changing your mind can change your life.
For years, I built things. Companies. Teams. Brands.
I helped leaders find their people and organizations find their way. I worked across continents—Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Australia and across sectors, from Best Buy to Lululemon, Mercedes to Nintendo.
It was meaningful work. And I loved it. But eventually, I wanted someting different. Not more success, more clarity. More purpose. More space to ask a different kind of question. So I sold my company. I went back to school. And instead of doubling down on what I knew, I stepped into the uncertainty of what I didn’t. I earned a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching, driven by a single question:
What does it really mean to thrive in the second half of life?
That question became my research. Then my practice. Now, it’s a book: SHIFT: 7 Mindsets for an Inspired Midlife.
Because what I’ve learned, through experience, science, and story, is this:
When it comes to midlife, mindset is everything.
It doesn’t just influence how we see the world, it predicts how we respond to it. It shapes how we handle change, how we face uncertainty, how we chart the path ahead.
